Red, White & Blue...

Samantha is off to Anaheim, CA for the national Phi Beta Lambda competition and conference. They'll be there for the week, then she's staying for an extra few days to visit with her oldest sister. Kim is currently in Amsterdam working on a production and will be back just in time for Samantha. It's definitely quieter and less messy when she's gone, but I miss her. I am getting a lot done though because it's going to be busy next week with a team meeting and classes.

Projects today feature a patriotic theme and are perfect for the Fourth of July. The cards are made using the same products, just different designs. I used the Balloon Celebration stamp set (love this one) and the Balloon Bouquet Punch. Colors are Real Red, Dapper Denim and Crumb Cake. I only used Dapper Denim ink, then some of our awesome Glimmer Paper for some of the balloons. the words on the second card are from the Ribbon of Courage stamp set (love the words in this one).

We made this fun tag in our workshops this month and it slid on a giant sparkler with a Silver Ribbon tied on top. The tag itself is die cut with the Lots of Labels Framelits. The Silver Glimmer 4 is cut with the Large Numbers Framelits. I used the Number of Years, Labeler Alphabet and In the City Hostess stamp sets. Colors are Real Red, Whisper White and Night of Navy.

Here are a couple more ideas using the Balloon Celebrations set and punch:
