Yummy In My Tummy final farewell...
One of the cutest products in the Occasions Catalog is the Yummy In My Tummy stamp set. This reminds me of Where the Wild Things Are and I've used it a couple of times. The first sample shows the little alien /monster image for a boy's birthday card. I used Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black and Shimmery White card stock. The 3 aliens are stamped with StazOn ink, then I used a watercolor wash over them. The "Happy Birthday" is colored with markers. I used Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie and Bermuda Bay ink refills for painting and for the markers.
This second project uses the fuzzy monster for a cute Valentine treat. The box is made from Crumb Cake card stock with a ribbon tied around it - just the right size for a Rice Krispie Treat. The monster is stamped on Shimmery White card stock, painted with Pool Party and Crumb Cake ink, then trimmed out. A piece of Glassine Sheet is stamped with the words and put behind a punched hole in the tummy. So sweet!
You're not sure if the monsters on these stamps want to hug you or eat you, but either way, they're happy about it and you will be too.
